Regarding the written answer to the questions about the return of Taiwan submitted by Yamatani Eriko, a member of the House of Councillors. In accordance with the Article 2 of the Peace Treaty with Japan (Treaty (V), 1952), our country relinquished all the right, title and claim to Taiwan and is not in a position to do our own certification in regard to the territorial positioning of Taiwan.
